Guru Monster Hooks!
Guru Monster Hooks are newest additions to the hooks available from The Snake Guru.com. If you’ve been looking for a super strong, well balanced hook for your largest and heaviest snakes you have got to have one of these! These hooks were designed with the biggest, baddest snakes in mind; Reticulated Pythons, Burmese Pythons, Anacondas, Rocks, you name it these hooks can take it!
I designed these hooks with 3 major points in mind. Comfort, maneuverability, and raw unadulterated power! Unlike most other "python hooks" which are extremely front end heavy, the Guru Monster Hook is well balanced, and maneuverable which also makes it comfortable to use instead of cumbersome. The secret is in a counterbalance of the materials used so even for the weight of the hook, it actually feels less bulky. The design is streamlined; there is no heavy 5’’ wide hook end blade to get jammed up in tight spots, this hook is perfect for working in cramped or tight areas and for sneaking around cage furniture.
But wait! We aren’t done yet! I then added nylon caps to both the hook tip and butt of the shaft, coated the hook end and part of the shaft in rugged and durable PVC, and for absolute comfort added foam grips.

Hook Opening: 6.25’’ Inside Diameter
Materials: 3/4’’ Galvanized Shaft, 3/4’’ Rolled and heat bent steel hook end
Additives: Nylon caps, PVC Coated Hook end and partial shaft (Full shaft coverage available on deluxe models)
Deluxe Model: Same as above with full length PVC and 8" foam grip (Available by request) or 8" Non-Slip Rubber Grip (Standard)
For All Monster Hooks
As always I try to offer as many custom options as possible with hooks. Unfortunately due to the style and materials used on these hooks the options that are available are few. The standard PVC coating will be offered in black, there are many other colors available so if you’re looking for something specific please ask. Length of the shaft can be cut to whatever sizes you need; the sizes listed above are standard. Grip style is another customizable option, if you don’t care for foam, I do have access to a full line of vinyl/rubber grips if interested please inquire. Some other slight modifications may be possible, if you want something specific please contact me and I will see what I can do.
**New for 2008 - I have recently switched from the Comfort Foam Grips to the Non-Slip Rubber Grips. The Foam Grips are still available by request for no added cost, but performance on the non-slip rubber grips was so good I decided to make it a standard feature on all the Monster Hooks.**
