________________________________________________________________________________________   Chimera is another one of those true oddball snakes. She was born in 2006 from a pairing between an Argentine (B.c.o) and a Pastel Columbian (B.c.i). How she got to be hot pink is anyone's guess though at 48" her color seems to be holding fast. Normally I'm not a big fan of crosses or hi-brids but with color like this she's hard to resist. Speaking candidly there probably is not any genetic basis for this color mutation and is most likely an result of the crossing, a fluke if you will.   Another shot under flourescent lighting: Shot in an outdoor setting:

___________________________________________________________________________________________ "Valerie" Hiss'N'Hers "Pocket Boa"   This is an extremely exciting project. A little backround on the story Fred and Lori Follett of "Hiss'N'Hers" produced a clutch of abnormally small full blooded Columbian Boa Constrictors, the current picture you see above was taken today 6/27/2008. The boa pictured is a female I acquired from Fred last year it has been on a normal feeding schedule eating every 7 days, the kicker is this female boa is 3 years old at the time of photographing! Several of Fred's holdbacks are also extremely small for thier age some smaller than the female pictured, so as you can see this a very exciting project, imagine Columbian Boas that stayed around the size of Ball Pythons! The possibilities are endless.
