Exclusive Guru Ergonomic Snake Hook
“This isn’t your granddad’s snake hook”
Welcome to the next step in snake hook evolution. The Guru Ergonomic hook is the most comfortable and versatile snake hook available to date. This hook was designed for helping to lift larger more cumbersome snakes such as large boa constrictors and medium pythons. It can be used as a single hand hook leaving one arm free for other things, or in a dual hand situation just as easily.
For single hand operation simply grasp the hook at the center handle, the long trailing shaft will extend the length of your arm evenly distributing the weight along the length of your arm; giving you greater stability, control, and the ability to lift more weight more comfortably. All this while leaving your other arm free to do whatever you need to do. Dual hand operation is just as simple and gives you a center choke point with the ergonomic handle.
Guru Ergonomic Hook Specs:
- Single piece construction, custom bent from 1 single piece of galvanized pipe, no break points, no welds.
- Full coat protective PVC coating available in a wide variety of colors
- 2 comfortable 4” foam grips
- Total Length: 53” (standard)
This is an actual quote from Michael S. who tested out this brand new style before it was available to the general public:
“I was very impressed with just how much of a difference it made. I could easily pick up something with the new hook that I couldn't even get off the ground with a normal hook. Despite it's length it was easy to maneuver. It was also much lighter than I was expecting, but strong enough to support whatever I could lift. (But I didn't hang from any trees! Perhaps I'll try that tomorrow.) As far as working with my boa, I could pick him up and move him without much difficulty with one arm. Using my left arm to support his body with the new hook and a normal hook in my right hand to control his head I felt very comfortable and in control moving him about. (This would probably be my preferred method for using the hook so that my right hand could also be used for opening/closing doors and lids.) Using the two-hand method on the one hook I could pick him up with no trouble at all, however he would quickly climb towards my hand which kind of defeats the purpose. LOL Basil didn't seem to be too uncomfortable during the whole experiment.”
Many thanks to Michael for trying out the new style and writing this testimonial.
